AHOY MATE!
Founded in 2011, the HolidayPirates Group has been making waves in the travel world ever since!
To achieve our mission of delivering the best travel deals, we want to attract talented people from all over the world.
That’s why our pirates can work all across Europe - Germany, France, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, the UK, or Poland and the US. Whether it’s fully remote in these countries or enjoying regular workations and flexible hours, we make your job fit your life (not the other way around!)
MISSION AT HAND
As our Senior SEO Manager you will be the person who can operate across the full spectrum — from hands-on technical audits to shaping long-term organic growth strategy.
You'll own SEO end-to-end, work cross-functionally with content, product, and engineering, and help us stay ahead of how search is evolving, including the shift toward AI-generated answers and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO).
This is a role for someone who thinks strategically, executes rigorously, and gets genuinely curious about what comes next in search.
For this role you can be based remotely in Germany, France, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, the UK or Poland.
DUTIES ON DECK

- Develop and own the organic search strategy across all markets and channels
- Set measurable goals, report on performance, and translate data into decisions
- Align SEO roadmap with broader marketing and business objectives
Content & On-Page SEO
- Oversee content strategy from a search perspective — topic clusters, search intent mapping, content briefs, and editorial calendars
- Collaborate with writers, editors, and designers to produce content that ranks and converts
- Lead content audits, pruning, and consolidation initiatives
Technical SEO
- Conduct and prioritize technical audits (crawlability, indexability, Core Web Vitals, structured data, log file analysis)
- Partner with engineering to ship impactful technical changes
- Own site architecture, internal linking strategy, and international/hreflang setup where applicable

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
