About the Role
We're looking for a Senior Service Analyst to join our Software Optimisation Services team. This is an opportunity to take ownership of customer-facing Microsoft 365 and Azure optimisation services, helping customers:
- Understand their usage patterns
- Identify opportunities for optimisation
- Reduce risk
- Make smarter technology decisions

Responsibilities
- Deliver reports: Produce Microsoft 365 and Azure optimisation reports that provide customers with clear, actionable insights.
- Identify optimisation opportunities: Spot ways to optimise licensing, improve utilisation, reduce risk, and control costs.
- Translate insights: Turn complex technical and consumption data into clear, accessible recommendations for customers.
- Present findings: Confidently share insights with customers, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
- Enhance reporting: Improve the quality, consistency, and scalability of Licence Services reporting.
- Drive improvements: Support service evolution initiatives, creating more efficient workflows.
- Lead as a subject matter expert: Provide senior-level guidance, quality assurance, and team mentorship across the wider Licence Services Analyst team.
Requirements
- Experience & Background:
- Previous role as a Lead Consultant or Senior Consultant with at least 2 years in a customer-facing environment (e.g., technology, licensing, optimisation, or advisory).
- Knowledge in software licensing, SAM, ITAM, cloud optimisation, or analytical reporting.
- Specialist Expertise:
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 licensing, usage, or optimisation.
- Hands-on experience with Azure consumption, cost management, or optimisation.
- Soft Skills & Tools:
- Ability to create and deliver customer-facing reports (clear, stakeholder-friendly communication).
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including handling large datasets.
- Strong analytical mindset, meticulous attention to detail, and commitment to quality outcomes.
