Senior Service Delivery Manager
People Lead
Location: Barrow-in-Furness (Hybrid - 3 days onsite) Duration: 6 months contract Pay Rate: £545 per day (all-inclusive, PAYE through FCSA Umbrella)
Your Role
- Ensure support for performance reviews, career conversations, and general leadership to extract the best from people.
- Drive the attainment of objectives, contribute to those objectives, and drive overall success within the team.
- Support, understand, and empathise with account challenges and complexities, ensuring resolution.
- Act as a point of escalation for account issues related to:
- People management
- Resource planning
- New work uptake
- Manage resource costs, undertake hiring, and ensure the right people are placed correctly.
- Support meetings to resolve concerns, define best practice approaches, and ensure successful delivery.

Your Skills and Experience
- Knowledge of End User Services / Digital Modern Workplace would be advantageous.
- ITIL understanding/applications are beneficial.
- Refined communication and organisation skills, with the ability to liaise with:
- Engineers
- End users
- Senior management
- Third-party suppliers
- Experience in leading multidisciplinary teams with varying priorities.
- Financial acumen for resource cost management.
- Coaching/mentoring experience.
- Ability to resolve difficult conversations concerning approach and performance.
