SENIOR SERVICE DESIGNER – LEADING HEALTH TECH & DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION BUSINESS

An exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing organisation at the forefront of healthcare technology and service transformation. Working across complex patient pathways and large-scale operational challenges, you’ll lead end-to-end service design initiatives that improve experiences for patients, clinicians, and healthcare teams alike.

This role combines strategic consultancy, hands-on design practice, and close collaboration with healthcare providers, making it ideal for someone who thrives in complex environments and is passionate about shaping the future of healthcare services through technology and human-centred design.

What they need -

  • Someone with proven experience delivering service design within healthtech, digital health, or large-scale healthcare environments, bringing a strong understanding of the operational realities, governance, and stakeholder complexity that exist across healthcare systems. Experience working directly with NHS organisations, trusts, or public healthcare providers is highly desirable.
  • A service designer who can lead complex programmes from discovery through to implementation, balancing strategic thinking with practical delivery, and demonstrating a track record of translating ambiguous challenges into tangible service improvements across people, process, and technology.
  • Someone who is comfortable operating in highly collaborative, stakeholder-heavy environments, able to facilitate workshops, navigate competing priorities, and build trust with everyone from frontline teams and operational stakeholders through to senior leadership and executive teams.
  • A designer with genuine systems-thinking capability, who understands that successful services extend far beyond digital touchpoints and can confidently map, redesign, and optimise interconnected journeys, organisational structures, and operational processes.
  • Someone excited by embedding themselves in real-world environments, who enjoys spending time on-site with healthcare partners, observing services in context, and working directly alongside end users to drive meaningful change.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
