Senior Pest Technician – Pest Elimination Team

Ecolab is seeking a Senior Pest Technician to join its industry leading Pest Elimination team. In this position, you will provide timely and cost-effective pest detection, elimination, and prevention solutions to an established route of commercial customers. You’ll provide brand protection to your 24/7 customers, including:
- Restaurants
- Hotels
- Hospitals
- Nursing homes
- Schools
- Retail stores
- Food and beverage processing plants

What You Will Do
Team & Customer Management
- Assist the District Manager with daily operations and tasks
- Lead, coach, and mentor existing team members
- Onboard and train new technicians
- Conduct Quality audits and Field accompaniment reviews
- Present at Service Excellence team meetings

Customer Relationships
- Build effective working relationships with varied clients
- Partner with customers to implement pest prevention strategies
- Stay updated on Ecolab’s product/service offerings to enhance sales and service
Technical & Operational Responsibilities
- Use Apple technology for service documentation, managing structural, sanitation, and pest reports
- Deliver high-quality inspection and treatment services exceeding regulations and customer expectations
- Provide clients with written evidence of treatments and advice on sustained pest prevention
- Apply pesticides following label recommendations and regulatory compliance
- Plan efficient and effective work routes to maintain 100% state of service
- Accurately submit reports, evaluations, and paperwork within deadlines
Position Details
- RSPH Level 2 qualification required
- Must be available for out-of-hours work as needed to support the business
- Work in tough commercial environments across diverse clientele
- Company vehicle or prepaid travel card provided for work-related travel
Remuneration & Benefits
- Salary up to £30,000, dependent on experience
- Extra £1,750 London Weighting Allowance (if based in the M25 area)
- Fully funded training, development, and qualifications
- 25 days holiday (+ 8 Bank Holidays)
- 4% Flexible Benefit Scheme – choose from family benefits or additional salary
- Company pension plan + 4 times annual salary life assurance
- Performance bonus (up to 5%) subsequent to performance goals
