Senior Service Manager

Torquay Salary: £29,836 per annum + great benefits including Health Cash Plan and on-call shift payment of £14.30 per session Contract: Temporary (9 months), full-time (37.5 hours per week)


About the Role

Want to lead a team that truly empowers customers—helping them live their best life? As our Senior Client Services Manager, you’ll oversee our support team in Torquay, delivering person-centred housing services for women and families leaving domestic abuse. This opportunity gives you the chance to unleash potential in your colleagues while achieving outstanding outcomes for the people we serve.


Responsibilities

  • Lead a motivated team to deliver efficient, high-quality, person-centred services aligned with contractual standards
  • Serve as the Safeguarding Lead for the service
  • Ensure Health & Safety checks and risk assessments are completed and documented accurately
  • Oversee contracts, budgets, and KPIs, while liaising with stakeholders and commissioners
  • Manage team and individual performance through coaching, setting competencies, and objectives to ensure clients receive a safe, supportive, person-centred service

Requirements

You’ll thrive in this role if you have:

✔ Exceptional people leadership—ability to coach and challenge misaligned behaviours while driving others’ growth ✔ A deep bedrock of empathy to advocate effectively for clients, understanding their individual needs and challenges ✔ Relevant industry experience in housing or care environments ✔ Demonstrated people management skills ✔ Experience in managing multiple services or leading managers
