Senior Shopper Marketing Manager
Consumer Health – Commercial & Shopper Marketing
The Senior Shopper Marketing Manager plays a critical role in shaping how Bayer Consumer Health brands connect with shoppers across retail and digital channels. You will develop and deliver insight-led activation strategies that bring together shopper behaviour, category insights, retailer priorities, and brand objectives to drive engagement, conversion, and business growth.
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Shopper Marketing professional looking to step into a broader, more strategic role with increased customer exposure, greater budget responsibility, and the opportunity to influence how our brands appear across the entire shopper journey.
What You'll Do
- Lead shopper marketing activation plans across key retail customers, delivering impactful campaigns that drive shopper engagement and commercial performance.
- Develop omni-channel strategies across in-store, eCommerce, digital shelf, and retail media to create seamless shopper experiences.
- Build strong relationships with retail customers, media partners, and agencies, acting as a trusted ambassador for Bayer Consumer Health brands.
- Champion the shopper agenda within cross-functional teams, ensuring shopper insights shape brand, category, and customer strategies.
- Manage and optimise shopper marketing investments of up to £4 million, ensuring strong ROI and measurable business impact.
- Evaluate campaign performance and identify growth opportunities using shopper, customer, and market data to continuously improve activation effectiveness.

About You
- Significant experience in Shopper Marketing, Sales, Marketing, or Category Management, ideally within FMCG and/or OTC Consumer Health.
- Proven experience working directly with retail customers and delivering customer-facing activation plans.
- Strong understanding of omni-channel shopper marketing, including in-store, eCommerce, digital shelf, and retail media.
- Skilled at using shopper, customer, and performance data to build compelling activation plans and drive results.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
- Degree educated (or equivalent experience) with strong commercial acumen and a collaborative, proactive mindset.

- Salary you can expect: £60K - £75K pa depending on experience. Salary reviews take place annually in April.
