Position Description
CGI's Space, Defence and Intelligence business unit delivers complex, mission-critical systems that help keep the UK safe and secure. As a leading systems integrator, we design, build and operate innovative solutions for clients across defence, intelligence, aerospace, maritime and space sectors.
We combine deep technical expertise with modern delivery approaches and strong partnerships across industry and academia. Our teams work on challenging projects where technology makes a real-world difference.
At CGI, you'll be part of a collaborative and supportive community that values innovation, continuous learning and professional growth. We offer a competitive salary, excellent pension, private healthcare and our share purchase plan, making you a CGI Partner rather than simply an employee.
Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. This is a hybrid position with travel to our Leatherhead office.
Your future duties and responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced Siebel Developer to join a growing team supporting a highly customised, business-critical solution for a major Defence client.
This is a hands-on technical role where you will contribute to the ongoing development, enhancement and support of a complex Siebel environment while helping to shape future improvements and technical direction.
As a senior member of the team, you will work closely with developers, architects, analysts and client stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions and resolve complex technical challenges. You will also play an important role in supporting and mentoring less experienced developers, helping to build capability across the team and promote development best practices.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
