Job Overview
Are you an existing Emergency Department Band 6? If so, why not take a leap into Senior Emergency Nursing as we have a secondment post, we would love for you to consider joining our team in the Emergency Department, here at The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospitals NHS Trust.
This is a chance for you to make a real difference to patient care whilst developing your knowledge and skills of working in an Emergency Department further.
Main duties of the job
Members of the Senior Nursing Team will require strong management and leadership qualities, whilst overseeing the team to deliver the highest possible patient care. It will support the Department Matron to drive forward evidence-based practice and take responsibility for the supervision of staff and the policies and practices that operate within their clinical area.

The post holder will lead and develop a team of nurses assigned to them whilst impacting on all the nurses in the department. There is a significant focus on The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust's (SaTH's) ED quality agenda which is monitored strictly by the CQC.
It is advocated you will participate in cross-site working.
