Senior Site Agent – Water AMP8

Contract Type: Permanent (open to contract options)

Our client, a leading Tier 1 contractor in the UK water sector, is delivering a major £100 million water and wastewater treatment project in East London. This high-profile scheme is central to long-term infrastructure improvements, enhancing capacity, resilience, and environmental performance.

You will take day-to-day responsibility for managing key sections of the civil works on-site. Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will lead site teams, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure safe, efficient delivery of works in line with programme and quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily site operations across assigned work areas

Supervise engineers, foremen, and subcontractors

Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards

Monitor progress against programme and report on performance

Coordinate materials, plant, and labour to meet project requirements

Review technical drawings and ensure accurate implementation on-site

Identify and mitigate risks and resolve on-site issues

Maintain clear communication with the wider project team and stakeholders

Ensure works are delivered to specification, on time, and within budget

Requirements

Proven experience as a Site Agent or Senior Site Agent on civil engineering projects

Background in water/wastewater xlqdzyr or heavy civil infrastructure projects

Experience working with Tier 1 or established contractors

Strong knowledge of construction processes, contracts, and site management

Excellent leadership and organisational skills

Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and workstreams effectively

Relevant Qualifications In Civil Engineering Or Similar

SMSTS and CSCS required
