Job Description
An excellent opportunity for a Senior Site Engineer to lead the engineering function on some of the UK’s most significant energy infrastructure programmes and to have an impact on projects that will secure energy supply for generations to come.

Key Responsibilities
- Champion health, safety, and environmental (HSEQ) best practice across the site, working closely with the SHQE department to maintain the highest standards.
- Assist with the development and implementation of temporary works design schemes.
- Maintain strong working relationships with the client, designer, project team, and supply chain throughout all stages of the project.
- Advise engineers on setting out methods and techniques, sharing knowledge and promoting technical best practice.
- Ensure construction drawings and specification documents contain accurate, sufficient information for the works, formally requesting any missing information in sufficient time to avoid programme delays.
- Communicate clearly with foremen and supervisors to ensure full understanding of technical information provided.
- Produce and review risk assessments, method statements, and technical queries.
- Ensure inspection and test plans are completed in accordance with the Project Management Plan and specification, including checks on dimensional accuracy and quality.

Key Requirements
- Proven experience in construction or civil engineering projects.
- Demonstrable experience with Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Risk Assessments, and Method Statements (RAMS) and temporary works.
- Solid understanding of current health and safety legislation.
- Proven ability to improve engineering processes and support delivery teams.
- Strong working knowledge of current civil engineering legislation and Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSEQ) legislation.
- Confident communicator with the ability to discuss engineering issues across all levels and disciplines.
