Role Overview
The Senior Site Engineer will play a key role in supporting the Construction Management Team, ensuring effective on-site control and successful delivery of the building elements of construction projects. This position involves technical oversight, coordination of site activities, and leadership of site engineering functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise setting out engineers to ensure works are delivered accurately and efficiently.
- Inspect shuttering, reinforcement, and dimensional compliance prior to concrete pours, and maintain accurate materials reconciliation records.
- Review plans and drawings to verify accuracy of calculations and ensure compliance with design and specifications.
- Liaise with subcontractors, clients, consultants, and other project stakeholders to coordinate site activities.
- Oversee quality control measures and ensure full compliance with health and safety standards and site procedures.

Requirements
- Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a Site Engineer role with a Main Contractor.
- Proven experience using setting-out equipment such as total stations, GPS, and laser levels.
- Strong knowledge of temporary works coordination.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work independently and use initiative in solving problems.
