Freelance Site Manager – Industrial Project – Oldham

We are recruiting an experienced Freelance Site Manager for an industrial construction project based in Oldham.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Site Manager with a proven track record of delivering industrial, commercial or logistics projects safely, on time and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations on site.
  • Coordinate subcontractors and direct labour to ensure works are completed safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain high standards of health, safety, quality and housekeeping.
  • Monitor programme progress and report regularly to the Project Manager.
  • Ensure works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications and company procedures.
  • Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks and daily briefings.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants and suppliers as required.

  • Main contractor experience preferred.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid at Work certificates are essential.
  • Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and maintain programme targets.
