Principal Business Architect / Senior SME – Global Specialty Insurance Finance & Billing Transformation
Location: London, UK (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
We are looking for a Principal Business Architect / Senior SME, who possess extensive experience across the London Market insurance ecosystem, including Binding Authorities, Delegated Authority (DA) business, and Assumed Business, with a strong understanding of their associated billing, reconciliation, and financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess end-to-end insurance finance processes, including billing, reconciliation, AR/AP, cash application, and GL integrations.
- Evaluate legacy platforms, identify technology risks, and quantify business continuity and revenue impact.
- Analyze multi-currency finance operations (USD, CAD, GBP, EUR, MXN) and consolidated reporting challenges.
- Facilitate workshops with business and IT stakeholders across the UK, Europe, and North America.
- Deliver executive-ready assessments and business cases to senior leadership.

Required Skills
- 10+ years of experience in insurance finance transformation, premium billing, reconciliation, AR/AP, and General Ledger integrations.
- Strong knowledge of TPA, Binding Authority, Broker, and other insurance distribution models.
- Experience assessing legacy/COTS platforms and identifying modernization opportunities.
- Hands-on exposure to multi-currency insurance accounting and global financial reporting.
- Excellent executive communication skills with experience presenting to C-suite stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.

Desirable
- Experience with Guidewire BillingCenter, Duck Creek, Oracle Financials, SAP for Insurance, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of application security, DAST, or cyber risk in enterprise environments.
