Senior Social Commerce Executive – TikTok Shop Specialisation

About the Role

As the Senior Social Commerce Executive, you’ll lead day-to-day TikTok Shop operations and optimisation within THG Ingenuity’s Partnership Marketing team. Reporting to the Senior Social Manager, this pivotal role ensures TikTok Shops are correctly configured, optimised, and aligned to deliver maximum commercial performance.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ongoing management and optimisation of TikTok Shop across client accounts.
  • Setting up and refining new TikTok Shops using established frameworks.
  • Coordinating content and campaigns in line with client trading calendars.
  • Tracking performance metrics (KPIs such as views, CTR, conversion) and driving data-driven improvements.
  • Managing creator and affiliate partnerships, from briefing to reporting.
  • Monitoring GMV, conversion rates, AOV, and top-performing products.
  • Staying current with TikTok Shop updates, features, and industry trends.

This is a dynamic role for a detail-oriented, results-driven professional with a passion for social commerce and TikTok Shop. Collaboration with ecommerce, creative, and influencer teams will be key.


Key Responsibilities

TikTok Shop Operations & Execution

  • Ensure TidKTok Shops remain live, accurate, and aligned with commercial objectives.
  • Drive optimisations through daily performance reviews and adherence to best practice.
  • Establish new TikTok Shop accounts via defined frameworks and guide their evolution.

Content & Campaign Coordination

  • Align TikTok Shop campaigns with client business calendars and business visibility objectives.
  • Support content creation, briefing creatives for assets, and adhering to briefs for posts, live events, and product highlights.
  • Monitor and track shoppable content performance—views, clicks, ATC (add-to-cart) rates, and conversions. Identify opportunities and escalate recommendations to ecommerce teams.
  • Contribute content strategies rooted in TikTok trends, client goals, and platform best practices.

Creator & Affiliate Management

  • Manage TikTok Shop creator and affiliate partnerships end-to-end, including briefs, product seeding, and performance tracking.
  • Identify and onboard new creators through TikTok’s affiliate marketplace, supporting the Senior Social Manager’s influencer strategy.
  • Analyse creator-generated content and affiliate commission data, compiling reports and noting standout partnerships.
  • Maintain clear records of agreements, delivery timelines, and performance metrics.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Conduct daily/weekly performance audits, tracking metrics such as GMV, conversion rate, AOV, and top-selling products.
  • Compile internally focused and client-facing reports with clear commentary.
  • Spot trends, flag anomalies, and make proactive recommendations to optimise results.
  • Ensure robust data accessibility through training on analytics tools and dashboards.

Platform & Industry Knowledge

  • Maintain an advanced knowledge of TikTok Shop mechanics, including policies, features, and evolving best practices.
  • Continuously update on TikTok platform advancements, new formats, and shifts in social commerce to share insights.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing by documenting workflows, updating playbooks, and co-authoring best practice guides.

Cross-Functional Support

  • Partner closely with ecommerce leads, paid social, creative, and operations teams to align social commerce activities.
  • Assist the Senior Social Manager in managing tasks, project coordination, and ad-hoc projects within Partnership Marketing.

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • Hands-on experience with TikTok Shop, including product listing, catalogue management, creator/affiliate partnership coordination, and performance tracking.
  • Solid grasp of TikTok’s commerce ecosystem and ecommerce dynamics.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple client accounts and competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong familiarity with performance metrics, data analysis, report compilation, and trend-spotting.
  • Proactive mindset with capacity for self-directed problem-solving and independent management of workflows.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and cross-team collaboration skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience in ecommerce, social commerce, influencer marketing, or digital marketing.
  • Familiarity with other social shopping platforms (Meta, Instagram Shop, etc.).
  • Passion for creator culture, niche/audience-driven community engagement, and emerging commerce trends.
