At Amazon Devices & Services, we imagine the future, and then create it. Join brilliant minds to build new categories of technology that become part of everyone's everyday life. Together, we create connected experiences and transform lives, communities, and the world with our work. Alexa Brand Marketing is looking for a dynamic, customer-obsessed and passionate Social Media Marketer to help grow and develop our social media offering in Europe.
Are you a bold, culturally attuned social media leader who wants to work at the intersection of AI, connected devices, and consumer culture? This is your chance to own one of the most exciting briefs in Tech—building the social presence of Alexa and Echo across five of Europe's biggest markets (UK, DE, FR, IT, ES). We are seeking a Senior Social Media Marketing Manager to lead Alexa’s paid social and influencer marketing strategy across both brand and content campaigns, driving awareness and consideration through innovative, customer-first approaches. Day to day, you’ll lead cross-EU agency partnerships to deliver best-in-class campaign outcomes, partner closely with global teams to maximize impact, and own UK social media activity end-to-end. You will build playbooks that define how we run social marketing and execute high-profile campaigns, influencer activations and events, while staying ahead of platform innovation and AI developments across key social platforms.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned social and influencer media professional with a proven track record of working with established multi-marketplace consumer brands, a strong commercial mindset, and a data-driven approach to performance measurement. You’re comfortable navigating ambiguity, you prioritize effectively in an ever-evolving environment, and you communicate clearly and persuasively across global teams. Above all, you drive focus and excellence within the programs you own, partnering closely with colleagues in PR, marketing, and product management.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
