Senior Social Media Strategist wanted to join our Global Social Commerce Team.
The opportunity:
We are looking for a social strategist who understands how to turn social interaction into transaction. Your primary focus will be designing and executing strategies that drive direct revenue, conversion, and social commerce growth for global well-known brands and retailers.
This highly visible role sits at the intersection of social and transaction, partnering across global brand teams and agencies to lead, innovate, and drive measurable social commerce growth.
You will bridge the gap between creative storytelling and hard commerce metrics. A critical element of this role is deep, hands-on expertise in social commerce ecosystems specifically TikTok Shop, TikTok Creator Affiliate models, and/or Meta's collaborative/conversion suites. You will partner closely with client brand teams, creative leads, and agency partners to define platform-specific strategies, establish commercial frameworks, and deliver measurable bottom-line growth.
What you’ll be doing:
- Develop and implement end-to-end social commerce strategies that move consumers from discovery to checkout. Define clear conversion-focused KPIs, revenue targets, and social-to-shelf journeys.
- Develop strategies that seamlessly integrate paid and organic social media efforts to maximise reach, engagement, and conversion.
- Digest, interpret, and respond to briefs in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that strategies are aligned with client objectives and delivered on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with client editorial, creative, and marketing teams to develop engaging and innovative content strategies that resonate with target audiences and drive online shopper experiences.
- Act as the internal and client-facing subject matter expert on social media ecosystems such as TikTok Shop.
- Maintain a deep understanding of social media platforms, best practices, and emerging trends, and leverage this knowledge to develop innovative and effective strategies.
- Act as a trusted strategic advisor to senior brand managers and client directors, translating complex social commerce mechanisms into clear, high-impact business cases.
- Track and analyse social media performance, providing regular reports and insights to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Confidently present strategic thinking and creative solutions to clients, including senior-level executives.
- Work closely with internal global teams, including creative, media, and analytics, to ensure that social media strategies are integrated with overall marketing efforts.
- Willingness to work at client locations as needed.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What we want from you:
- Proven hands-on experience as a Social Strategist (agency or brand-side) with a distinct focus on transactional social commerce and conversion over pure brand awareness (turning social engagement into transactional revenue).
- Hands-on experience working with social platforms such as TikTok Shop setups, live shopping, and TikTok’s affiliate/creator network models and/or Meta’s collaborative ads (CPAS) and social-to-retail integrations is highly essential.
- You possess a strong commercial mindset with the ability to act as a growth partner for our clients. You don't just manage client relationships; you proactively identify and pitch new social commerce opportunities that drive incremental revenue and business growth through social channels.
- Experience in delivering business outcomes, not just engagement metrics. You understand retail margins, affiliate commission models, conversion funnels, and the commercial drivers of e-commerce.
- You will have experience scaling social commerce within large, complex structures and multi-brand environments.
- Comfortable diving into platform analytics, social commerce metrics, and performance dashboards to pull out actionable insights that steer creative and media choices.
- While you are a specialist in social commerce, you possess a broad understanding of the wider digital shelf, retail media, and how social commerce connects to a brand’s overall eCommerce ecosystem.
- An adaptable, positive thinker who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You see the rapid shifts in social media platforms not as a challenge, but as a commercial opportunity to test, learn, and pioneer new shopping experiences.
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills. You are highly consultative, comfortable partnering with senior global clients, and capable of translating complex social commerce mechanics into clear, commercially viable business cases.
