Senior Social Strategist – Dove (London, Hybrid)

About the Role

Joining Dove, one of the most respected global brands on social media, this strategic leadership opportunity will allow you to shape Dove’s global social presence end-to-end—from insight and ideation to platform-specific creative, live operations, and community engagement.

You’ll operate with newsroom agility but craft-driven precision, launching cutting-edge ideas, forging partnerships with top creators, and turning audience interactions into cultural moments. The goal is simple: make Dove the most culturally relevant brand on social.

This isn’t just about content production—it’s about strategic foresight, purpose-driven storytelling, and fostering a culture of positive online engagement. If you’re driven by impactful ideas, collaborative thinking, and scalable creativity, this is where you’ll push boundaries and do the best work of your career.

Recently shortlisted for regional agency awards, Dove’s global social strategy is in flux—and your role will be key to shaping a futureproofed, globally consistent, but agile social approach.

The Opportunity

You’ll be the strategic engine behind Dove’s social presence, acting as the bridge between consumer insight, cultural intelligence, and creative execution to deliver work that resonates across 15+ markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead social-first strategy for Dove, developing ** Tailored content plans, campaign directions, and always-on frameworks that align brand purpose with audience behaviors** and platform algorithms.
  • Mine data & insights—consumer research, cultural signals, and competitive analysis—to identify opportunities for Dove to enter conversations authentically, not just promote products.
  • Translate platform dynamics (TikTok velocity, Instagram debates, YouTube creator culture) into creative briefs that guide sharp, commercially relevant execution.
  • Fabricate compelling audience + community strategies, ensuring Dove’s messaging hits home across gen Z, millennials, and diverse demographic cohorts.
  • Collaborate with creative & production teams, ensuring ideas evolve from brilliant concepts to executed wins with razor-sharp direction.
  • Bridge strategy and operations, working with social media managers to align content output with publishing agendas, ROAS, and cultural responsiveness.
  • Shape creator and influencer partnerships, talent-scouting those who best represent Dove’s values and amplify impact in trend-driven moments.
  • Present strategies & creative revisions with clarity and conviction, translating nuanced briefs into successful campaigns for executive buy-in.
  • Measure & iterate using social-first analytics, transforming insights into continuous improvement for creative work, community growth, and brand affinity.
  • Stay ahead of platform shifts (AI features, Reels AI, TikTok Seasonal Updates) alongside industry trends in beauty, personal care, and social satisfaction.
  • Mentor junior strategists, fostering a collaborative culture where curiosity and analytical rigor are core strengths.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Deep knowledge of social platforms, especially TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, alongside emerging tools (X, Threads, Snapchat, LinkedIn creator economy).
