Senior Social Worker – Fostering Recruitment | 10744 | Permanent Contract | 37 hours per week | £43,822 to £48,227 per annum | Grade K | Countywide
We are looking for a full-time, Senior Social Worker to join our very supportive Fostering Recruitment Team. Our aim is to continue to successfully increase the number of approved foster carers for Norfolk Fostering Service. We require a minimum of 2 years post-qualifying experience.
We are based at County Hall, and we are a County resource, covering Norfolk.

Our aim is to recruit and assess new applicants and agency foster carers who are wishing to transfer to Norfolk Fostering Service. We need a Senior Social Worker who will be advocates and able to promote Norfolk Fostering Service within our community.
There is an opportunity to be versatile, as we require a person who can actively get involved in recruitment, assessing new applicants, going to Panel, and sometimes delivering preparation training. You will need to have good written and analytical assessment skills, must have experience of safeguarding and working with children in care, and some understanding of their issues. You will need to have good written, assessment, and analytical skills and be able to work efficiently and to a high standard to produce and present coramBAAF, Form F, Fostering Assessments to our Norfolk Fostering panel.
Occasional evenings and weekends will be required. Hybrid working is a key feature of this role, mainly working from home and occasional office visits. We ask that candidates have in place good, Broadband connectivity.
