Liquid Personnel is seeking an experienced and committed Senior Social Worker to join their Adults Access Team in Dudley. This is a fast-paced frontline service that acts as the first point of contact for adult social care referrals, delivering timely assessments, triage, and initial interventions.

In this role, you will play a key part in screening referrals, undertaking Care Act assessments, and determining appropriate pathways for individuals with a range of needs, including disabilities, safeguarding concerns, and complex social care requirements. You will work closely with service users, families, and partner agencies to ensure a proportionate, strengths-based approach, promoting independence and effective access to services. What will your responsibilities be? Manage incoming referrals, undertaking triage and screening to determine appropriate interventions and eligibility under the Care Act. Complete timely and proportionate assessments, including strengths-based and outcome-focused care planning. Undertake safeguarding enquiries and ensure risk is managed effectively, in line with statutory responsibilities. Provide expert advice, guidance, and signposting to individuals, families, and professionals. Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners, including health services and community organisations. Make informed decisions regarding onward referrals, ensuring smooth transitions to longer-term teams where required. Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records in line with legislative and organisational standards. Support team development, contribute to best practice, and engage in supervision and CPD. Skills: Strong assessment, analytical, and decision-making skills within a fast-paced environment Ability to manage competing priorities and make proportionate, risk-based decisions Excellent communication and partnership working skills IT Skills: Experience using electronic case management systems and maintaining accurate records Qualifications and Experience: To be successful in this role you must have; Professional Qualification: MA, BA, BSc in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work, or CQSW. Registration: Must be registered with Social Work England. Experience: Significant experience within a statutory adult social care setting, including frontline or duty work, assessments, and safeguarding. Knowledge: Strong understanding of Care Act 2014, safeguarding frameworks, and adult social care legislation. Why Liquid Personnel?
