A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Software Developer with full-stack experience to work on a high-profile MoD Training Programme.
This is a hands-on role focused on developing scalable, secure, and cloud-native applications that will support the strategic aims of a highly impactful programme.
As well as building secure backend services, you will integrate APIs and databases, develop and maintain frontend interfaces, and containerise applications using Docker & Kubernetes.

Hybrid Working
Up to 2-3 days per week on site in Westbury
Security Clearance
Eligibility for UK SC Clearance will be required
Technical Skills
- Front end – React, Angular
- Backend – combination of Python, Java, Golang, or.NET
- Cloud experience – AWS, Azure, or MODCloud will all be considered
- Docker & Kubernetes
- CI/CD tools e.g., Jenkins
- IaC using Terraform ideally (or CloudFormation)

Other Skills
- Good communication skills
- The ability to work with technical leads, architects, and other engineers
- Enthusiastic about applying modern development practices
- Not afraid of failure and sharing lessons with relevant teams
