Senior Software Developer – Verification Platform (Golang, React, Cloud, and AI facial recognition)

The Role

As a Senior Software Developer, we’re actively expanding our Verification team and launching a ground-up re-architecture. Working alongside Technical Leads, you’ll design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance verification systems, including:

  • Real-time facial recognition leveraging AI technology
  • Core verification automation tools
  • Full-stack development in Golang, React, and Cloud platforms

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Development

  • Lead development of high-availability, multi-user, and service-based systems, ensuring scalability and maintainability
  • Own technical solutions from design to live deployment, hands-on and at a low level
  • Contribute to solution design and effort estimation, collaborating to deliver accurate timelines and workflows

Innovation & Collaboration

  • Apply active governance to align developing solutions with business needs
  • Guide a small team of developers in designing and implementing verification systems
  • mentor junior colleagues, fostering a culture of continuous learning

Quality & Support

  • Act as the primary point of escalation for both internal and external issues
  • Drive technical documentation to ensure standardisation and clarity
  • Maintain high standards for security, performance, and reliability in our products

Requirements

  • Proven engineering experience as a Senior Developer in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong ability to solve complex problems under limited deadlines
  • Proficiency with:
    • Core skills: Kafka, SQL, .NET, Golang, and TypeScript
    • Algorithms, multi-platform compatibility, and real-time systems
  • Soft skills for team leadership:
    • Patience for mentoring and coaching
    • Adaptability to continuous learning
  • A demonstrated track record in delivering highly available, secure, and high-traffic applications
