Team Overview

Price heavily influences a traveler’s decision-making process, dictating their path to purchase. In a fragmented market, travelers compare options, seeking the best deal and most transparent pricing.

The Offers Domain Team ensures travelers receive clear, accurate pricing throughout their journey. We achieve this by:

This is your chance to play a crucial role in shaping this domain, driving innovation for millions of travelers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

You will:

  • Design, develop, and refine robust, secure backend services (including APIs, data models, and trade-off analysis) to support high-traffic pricing and offers experiences across all Expedia Group brands.
  • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of complex systems—from technical design and implementation to testing, deployment, monitoring, and ongoing operational support—to maintain simple, accurate, and transparent pricing for travelers.
  • Partner closely with product, architecture, and engineering teams to translate business requirements (including regulatory needs) into viable technical solutions, ensuring locally relevant offerings that scale across platforms.
  • Drive engineering excellence, championing code quality, automated testing, observability, and performance optimisations to:
    • Mitigate technical debt
    • Reduce operational overhead
    • Enhance resilience, scalability, and service reliability
  • Provide technical mentorship to junior colleagues, sharing domain expertise in:
    • System design, API integration, and data modelling
    • Cross-team collaborations

    • Familiarity with AI-driven workflows
    • Intelligent pricing decision-making tools

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
