Senior Software Engineer

The Role
- Lead a team or cross-functional squad in delivering complex projects that support business outcomes
- Take end-to-end responsibility for technical design, implementation, and operational considerations
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes
- Play a crucial role in elevating engineering enablement, excellence, and experience across the broader engineering community
- Contribute to the development and dissemination of standardised and sustainable best practices, tools, patterns, and frameworks
- Innovate within your team and technical domain and aim to achieve goals and visions shared by Product Management and Tribe Leadership

What You'll Need
- Proven experience in technical leadership, including leading a team or cross-functional squad
- Proven experience working in both backend services and mobile technologies
- Exceptional programming skills and knowledge of building APIs using modern OO languages (preferably Java), SOLID principles, SOA, HTTP and REST
- Experience with AWS and strong understanding of cloud-based development
- Extensive, demonstrable knowledge of designing architectures that are secure and perform at scale
- Ability to effectively communicate and work collaboratively across engineering
