🚀 Software Engineer (C# /.NET) | Hybrid | UK
We're partnering with a fast-growing technology company undergoing a major platform transformation and looking for a Software Engineer to join their engineering team.
This is an opportunity to work on the modernisation of a large-scale, business-critical platform, helping to migrate a legacy .NET Framework application into a modular, cloud-first architecture using modern.NET technologies.
What You'll Be Doing
- Developing and enhancing enterprise-scale software solutions in C# and.NET
- Contributing to the transformation of a legacy monolithic application into modern, scalable services
- Working within Agile delivery teams, participating in sprint planning, estimation, retrospectives, and backlog refinement
- Writing secure, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Collaborating closely with engineers, QA specialists, and product stakeholders
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across engineering practices, tooling, and processes

What We're Looking For
Essential
- Strong commercial experience with C#
- Experience working with both.NET Framework and modern.NET
- Solid understanding of software engineering principles including concurrency, process communication, automation, and security
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience working within Agile development environments
Desirable
- Experience with Microsoft Azure
- Exposure to software modernisation and transformation programmes
- Understanding of domain-driven design and defining domain boundaries
- Database design, data modelling, and performance optimisation experience
