Senior Software Engineer
Senior Software Engineer - Security
Location: UK / Ireland Based - Fully Remote Salary: £90,000 - £110,000 + Sizeable Equity
Most security engineering roles ask you to bolt scanning onto someone else's platform. This one asks you to build the trust layer that the software industry runs on.
We’re hiring on behalf of a $100M-backed security startup—a fully managed, multi-tenant service that multi-language, container, and OS ecosystems already trust to build, secure, and ship software at Fortune 500 scale.
What You’ll Work On
You'll build the foundations of the platform’s security layer—turning industry-standard security feeds into fast, reliable pipelines that power policy, trust, and visibility for customers shipping software at global scale. Concretely, that means:
- Designing and shipping features for their enterprise management platform and the APIs that sit underneath it
- Integrating and maintaining high-fidelity security data feeds that drive automated policy enforcement
- Working directly with product, design, and customer success to solve genuinely hard supply chain security problems
- Owning quality end-to-end: testing, monitoring, and sustainable engineering habits at scale
- Shipping multiple times per day, in a team that prioritises customer value over ticket velocity
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
