Senior Software Engineer
Location: Stevenage (potential relocation package available)
Salary: £40,000–£75,000 (based on experience) Working Arrangement: Hybrid (typically 3–5 days per week on-site)

We’re seeking a Senior Software Engineer to shape our technology and your career by developing groundbreaking software for world-leading missile systems and sub-components.

Main Responsibilities
- Design and develop test equipment software to validate complex missile systems and components.
- Collaborate in a cross-functional, agile team, contributing to the full software development lifecycle.
- Implement testing solutions in C/C++, with scripting knowledge being a plus.
- Apply deep knowledge of automation, continuous integration (CI), DevOps principles, and quality assurance.
- Work with electronic measurement tools (e.g., oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers) for debugging and validation.

Key Requirements
- Strong software engineering experience (especially in development of test solutions).
- Proven expertise in C/C++ (scripting languages considered advantageous).
- Experience working in an agile development environment.
- Sound understanding of best practices for high-quality software development.
- Exposure to automation, CI/CD processes, and DevOps principles.
- Knowledge of electrical/electronic systems testing and debugging techniques.

- Must pass HGM Basic Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) checks post-offer.
