Role: Senior Software Engineer

Company: Financial Services startup

Location: London (Hybrid)

Salary: up to £90k + Equity

We're partnering with an ambitious AI startup building production-grade agentic AI systems for financial services. As one of the early engineering hires, you'll design and build AI-powered applications that solve complex, real-world problems for enterprise customers.

This is a highly technical role where you'll spend the majority of your time writing production Python code, integrating LLMs, building APIs, and deploying scalable AI solutions while working closely with customers and the product team.

What you'll be building

  • Design and develop production AI applications using Python and modern LLM frameworks
  • Build robust APIs, backend services, and integrations with enterprise platforms
  • Develop agentic workflows and AI-powered automation for financial services use cases
  • Own projects from architecture through deployment and ongoing iteration
  • Work directly with customers to understand requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions
  • Collaborate closely with Product and AI Engineering to shape the platform and roadmap
  • Optimise performance, reliability, observability, and deployment of AI systems in production

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
