The Opportunity

As a Software Developer, you'll work closely with clients, stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams to design, build and deliver high-quality software solutions from concept through to deployment.

You'll have the autonomy to make technical decisions, influence solution design and contribute to products that create measurable value for our clients. No two projects are the same, meaning you'll constantly be learning, solving new challenges and expanding your technical expertise.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Design, develop and deliver high-quality software across the full development lifecycle
  • Collaborate directly with clients, users and subject matter experts to understand business challenges and translate them into elegant technical solutions
  • Take ownership of projects from initial concept through to deployment and ongoing enhancement
  • Build scalable, reliable and maintainable software using modern engineering practices
  • Challenge existing processes, identify opportunities for improvement and drive innovation
  • Contribute to technical architecture, code reviews and engineering best practice
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams in an agile, collaborative environment
  • Stay ahead of emerging technologies and continuously improve your technical capability

What We're Looking For:

We're interested in talented engineers who are curious, ambitious and thrive on solving difficult problems.

You'll ideally bring experience in one or more of the following technologies:

  • C# / .NET
  • Java
  • Python
  • Rust

You'll also have:

  • Strong software engineering fundamentals and coding best practices
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • A passion for technology and continuous learning
  • The ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • A collaborative mindset with the confidence to work directly with clients
  • A proactive approach, taking ownership and delivering with accountability
  • The ability to adapt quickly within a fast-moving environment

Desirable

  • Experience within Financial Services, Banking or Capital Markets
  • Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure or GCP)
  • CI/CD, DevOps and automation practices
  • Containerisation technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
  • Experience with distributed systems or scalable architectures
  • A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or a related discipline
