10+ Senior Backend Engineers (Go / Kotlin) Fintech, London

  • Location: Hybrid (~3 days on site), Permanent
  • Salary: Up to £120,000 base + VSOP
  • Requirements: Must have UK Right to Work

We're supporting a global fintech as they build out their first UK engineering team in London while expanding their global footprint.

They’re already operating at an international scale, but the London engineering hub is new—which means this is an opportunity to join early, shape local culture, and work on financial products used by millions of merchants and consumers globally. In this exciting time, they’re tackling large-scale change, diverse regulations, and challenges, providing the option to not only make an impact, but also to bring creativity to finescale innovations.

About the Company

  • A mature global fintech, not an early-stage startup
  • Building a new London engineering hub across multiple teams
  • Work spans high-scale financial infrastructure:
    • Banking
    • Payments
    • POS (Point of Sale) systems
    • Cloud solutions
  • Core focus: Building reliable financial infrastructure—ledgers, balances, transactions, and merchant banking products

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
