About the Role
The Engineering and Innovation team is in search of a Software Engineer to architect systems and develop intelligent infrastructure that enhances organisational effectiveness across research, products, and operations. This role involves powering unified organisational data views, engineering automated workflows, and creating AI-driven solutions to solve complex challenges.
Responsibilities
- Full-Stack Development: Design, develop, deploy, and maintain full-stack software solutions, including those involving AI models.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to gather requirements and ensure successful project delivery.
- System Maintenance: Ensure optimal system performance, reliability, and health through active monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Core Contributions: Contribute to frontend development, backend development, AI solutions, and core infrastructure.
- Engineering Standards: Uphold high engineering standards by ensuring code quality, comprehensive testing, thorough documentation, and security compliance while actively participating in code reviews

Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience with full-stack web application development.
- 2+ years of experience in algorithm design.

Required Skills & Tech Stack
- Collaboration: Proven collaborative skills within a team environment on technical projects.
- Global Coordination: Ability to coordinate with international teams across different time zones.
- Preferred Languages: Experience in TypeScript, Angular, Java, or Python.
- Data & Architecture: Strong knowledge of relational databases and API design.
- DevOps: Familiarity with production deployment and monitoring systems.
- AI Integration: Insights on applying AI in software solutions, including prompt engineering and evaluation.
- UI/UX Interest: A keen interest in web application development and user experience design.
