Senior Software Engineer

Senior Software Engineer (Belfast)

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team in Belfast, where you’ll help develop cutting-edge digital solutions that transform modern dairy farming.

If you’re passionate about software development, enjoy collaborating in a high-performance team, and want to shape the future of dairy farm management, we’d love to hear from you!

About the Role

Our Senior Software Engineer will design, build, and maintain scalable digital tools that empower dairy farmers globally.

At the core of our work is a farm management system—helping farmers optimise yields, reduce waste, and streamline operations through intelligent software.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Software Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:

    • Contribute to the full software development lifecycle (analysis, design, development, testing, deployment).
  • Ownership & Accountability

    • Ensure clean, maintainable, and production-ready code.
    • Take full ownership of assigned features or modules with minimal supervision.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
