Day-to-Day, You'll:
- Design and build scalable backend systems deployed in AWS.
- Own solutions end-to-end, from idea through to production.
- Work closely with Product, Design and Data teams to solve real customer problems.
- Make key architectural decisions that shape the future of the platform.
- Improve performance, reliability, security and scalability across critical systems.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to a high-performing engineering culture.
- Work in an AI-first environment where tools such as Claude, Cursor and GitHub Copilot are embedded into everyday engineering workflows.
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI to improve developer productivity, product capabilities and customer outcomes.
- Experiment with emerging AI technologies and help define engineering best practices for the future.

- Strong backend engineering experience with Kotlin, Java, .NET, or similar technologies.
- Experience building and scaling distributed systems.
- Experience working with modern AI tooling such as Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot or similar as part of your daily workflow.
- A genuine enthusiasm for AI-first software development and the opportunities it creates.
- A product mindset, you think about users, not just code.
- A passion for clean code, testing and long-term quality.
- Confidence making pragmatic trade-offs and delivering at pace.
- A collaborative approach with low ego and high ownership.
- Curiosity, adaptability and a desire to continuously evolve alongside emerging AI technologies.
