Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere)
Job Type: Contract
Payout: $40 – $85/hour
Role Overview
We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Senior Software Engineer to work on a contract basis. This position involves designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions to support business-critical applications. The role requires expertise in modern software engineering practices and the ability to deliver high-quality, scalable systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy software systems using best practices in software engineering.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliver solutions.
- Optimise application performance through:
- Code reviews
- Debugging
- System improvements
- Implement and maintain scalable architectures to support evolving business needs.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code in accordance with industry standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as:
- Python
- Java
- C++
- Strong experience in:
- Software design patterns
- Algorithms
- Data structures
- Familiarity with cloud platforms including:
- AWS
- Azure
- GCP
- Strong knowledge of DevOps practices.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Knowledge of:
- CI/CD pipelines
- Automated testing frameworks
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
