Job Description
As a Senior Software Engineer at Wissen AI, you will be a full-stack generalist building product surfaces, infrastructure, and multi-step reasoning systems. London, UK / New York, USA
Why this role is remarkable
- Join a stealth-stage team at the absolute earliest phase, having been incorporated in July 2024 with the opportunity for significant equity ownership.
- Work directly alongside technical founders to build an AI-native product from the ground up for the world's most sophisticated institutional investors.
- Solve hard intellectual problems at the intersection of AI, finance, and knowledge systems, moving beyond prototypes to ship real-world production systems.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

The ideal candidate
- You have a proven track record of shipping AI-native products directly to end-users, rather than just building internal tools or research prototypes.
- You thrive in high-ambiguity, early-stage environments and possess a T-shaped skill set that covers product surfaces, infrastructure, and LLM orchestration.
- You are highly driven and leverage modern AI tools to maximize your shipping velocity and technical impact within a small team.
