Senior Software Engineer, C#/.NET | £95,000 + Bonus + Benefits | FX Trading | Hybrid | London
I’m currently partnering with a high-performing FX trading technology team that sits at the heart of a global trading business. They are looking to add a Senior Software Engineer to their growing engineering team to help build and evolve the next generation of their real-time trading platform.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on technology that has a direct impact on the business, developing highly scalable, low-latency systems that process millions of market data updates and trading events every day. You will work with modern technologies across both back-end engineering and front-end development.
The Senior Software Engineer Role
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building and enhancing a trading platform used by traders and business users across the organisation. You will be developing scalable backend services using C# /.NET, building modern Angular applications, and designing event-driven platform services. Alongside hands-on development, you’ll collaborate closely with Product Owners and fellow engineers, contribute to architectural decisions and support the development of more junior team members through mentoring and technical guidance.

- 💰 This C# Full Stack Developer role is paying up to £95,000 + bonus + benefits
- 🚂 The closest station is Victoria Station
- 📍Hybrid working. 3 days per week in the office
- 🧑💻Tech: C# /.Net (currently.NET 8 /.NET 10), Angular, Kafka and event-driven architectures (Rabbit MQ, Azure Service Bus), distributed microservices, PostgreSQL.
Skills Required for the Senior Software Engineer
- Strong commercial experience with C#/.NET
- Experience building Angular applications (or another modern JavaScript framework with a willingness to work in Angular)
- Experience with Kafka or other messaging/event-streaming technologies
- A solid understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, and scalable architecture
- Experience building high-performance applications within financial services, trading, or other real-time environments is highly desirable.
