Senior Software Engineer x2 - Outside IR35 - Contract - (Energy Sector)
Softwire is helping deliver a project for a client of ours in the energy sector, and we're growing the team behind the Azure rebuild. We're looking for 2x Full Stack Software Developers, ideally with some data engineering experience, to join the team.
You'll work across the stack, from refinement through to deployment, helping the team deliver well-tested, well-documented software while supporting the wider team through sprint ceremonies and code review.
Must have
- Strong experience with Python
- Experience with Azure SQL
- Experience with Terraform
- Comfortable working across the full stack, from data layer through to delivery

What you'll be doing
- Develop and deliver user stories and technical tickets across the stack, from refinement through to deployment, including testing, meeting agreed acceptance criteria and definition of done
- Produce well-tested, documented code via pull requests, incorporating feedback from code reviews and adhering to the team's engineering standards and branching conventions
- Support diagnosing and resolving bugs in the system, including analysis and implementing fixes
- Support the wider development team through attending sprint ceremonies, code reviews, and responding to review comments within core hours
