About the Role

We’re seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Assured Build team, where you’ll engineer and scale secure, automated solutions across Lloyds Banking Group (LBG).

This role focuses on bolstering engineering capability by:

  • Designing and scaling automation for secure infrastructure
  • Integrating security baselines into engineering workflows
  • Embedding Security Relevant Configuration (SRC) controls into code, pipelines, and platform tooling
  • Developing frictionless, scalable security solutions with a focus on DevOps-led delivery

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll contribute to enterprise-scale automation (including CI/CD integration, tooling, and data-driven reporting), delivering resilient, scalable security outcomes.

Within this, you’ll be largely responsible for:

  • Assuring security configurations in static build artefacts and CI/CD pipelines
  • Reducing manual effort, increasing consistency, and improving coverage across infrastructure and software
  • Driving automation, reuse of security artefacts, and embedding security earlier in the development lifecycle

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
