Role Summary
The Senior Software Engineer – Cyber Security Configuration Assurance will lead the engineering capability for Assured Build, focusing on:
- Automating security baselines to engineering workflows
- Embedding Security Relevant Configuration (SRC) controls in code, pipelines, and platforms
- Reducing manual effort while improving consistency and scalability of assurance across software and infrastructure
A DevOps-driven role requiring hands-on development, enterprise automation (CI/CD/integrations), and data-driven reporting for frictionless security outcomes.

Security Configuration Assurance
- Validate security baselines in static build artefacts and CI/CD pipelines
- Ensure alignment between security controls, code pipelines, and tooling

Automated & Secure-by-Design Delivery
- Develop and improve automation services
- Embed secure code principles into pipelines and platforms
- Drive reuse and consistency across LBG tooling
Technical Depth
- Scaling secure automation for enterprise-scale infrastructure
- Working with scaleable, resilient platforms
- Integrating multi-layered assurance tools to clip manual gaps
Who You Are
Essential Experience
✔ Software engineering, DevOps practices, or large-scale systems (enterprise-level) ✔ Scripting (Python, JavaScript/PowerShell) and automation/tooling expertise ✔ Programming experience (writing, debugging, enhancing code) ✔ Broad cyber security knowledge, including cloud environments (Azure/GCP) ✔ Secure-by-design principles and early lifecycle embedding ✔ CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, GitLab) and repository workflows ✔ Automation & refactoring experience
