About The Role And Team
As a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer or Technical Lead, you’ll join a cross-functional agile team, collaborating with 3–5 other engineers and supported by a Tech Lead. Working alongside Product, Design, and QA, you’ll deliver high-quality solutions to clients across various industries.
We believe in collective craftsmanship—each contribution matters to shaping the best possible product. Your role is pivotal in shaping success on our projects, championing high standards and technical integrity.

What You’ll Be Doing
Core Responsibilities
Full-Stack Development
- Design, develop and test frontend and backend components using:
- React
- Azure
- Node.js
- JavaScript, TypeScript
- Java
Backend Engineering
- Build robust, scalable backend systems using:
- Java
- RESTful APIs
- Modern database technologies
Frontend Development
- Proficient in frontend capabilities with expertise in:
- JavaScript
- Modern Single Page App (SPA) frameworks (e.g., Vue.js, Angular, Svelte)
Technical Leadership
- Mentor junior engineers while sharing technical insights and championing best practices (e.g., code reviews, design patterns, automated testing)
- Lead technical direction on client projects, ensuring solutions are well understood, well-architected and effectively implemented
Problem-Solving
- Resolve complex technical challenges with creativity and rigour
- Balance coding speed and solution longevity
Collaboration
- Partner seamlessly with:
- Business Analysts (BAs)
- Quality Assurance (QA) teams
- Senior stakeholders from our clients
Continuous Improvement
- Stay ahead of latest technologies and industry trends
- Actively elevate internal knowledge through:
- Knowledge sharing
- Documentation
- Cross-team collaboration
Our Requirements
Core Requirements
We’d love candidates with:
- Experience in AI-native development methods (e.g., Claude Code, Codex, Spec-Driven Development)
- Commercial exposure to 1+ of these stacks:
- React
- Node.js
- Azure
- JavaScript/TypeScript (Frontend & Backend)
- Automation
- Mobile development (native or cross-platform)
- Proficiency with modern cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), including:
- Deploying applications
- Hosting solutions
- A collaborative mindset that fosters knowledge-sharing across:
- Client teams
- The broader Engineering department
- A commitment to best engineering practices, including:
- Code reviews
- Paired programming
- Automated testing

Role Details
- Location: Hybrid (2 days/week required at Edinburgh or Glasgow)
