Company Description

Wise is a global technology company, building the best way to move and manage the world’s money.

Min fees. Max ease. Full speed.

Whether people and businesses are sending money to another country, spending abroad, or making and receiving international payments, Wise is on a mission to make their lives easier and save them money.

As part of our team, you will be helping us create an entirely new network for the world's money.

For everyone, everywhere.

More about our mission and what we offer.

Job Description

About the role:

We are looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our Payin Platform team in the London office. This team owns the layer that powers how money enters Wise. The platform sits between our product teams (Transfer, Acquiring Payment, and any new product that needs to take money in) and the payment methods we support (Cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Balance, Bank Transfer, PISP, UPI, Direct Debit, and more).

What will you be working on?

Rather than owning a single payment method, we build the Payin Session and Payment abstractions that let every product integrate a payment method once and scale to millions of transactions without re-solving the same problems.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
