Senior Software Engineer (.NET / AWS)

£70,000 + Bonus + Comprehensive Benefits

Manchester (Hybrid – 2 Days Per Week)

Build software that operates at enterprise scale.

We're partnering with a market-leading global SaaS organisation embarking on a significant technology transformation. With millions of customer interactions and mission-critical platforms relied upon by enterprise clients, this is an opportunity to join a business investing heavily in cloud, engineering excellence and modern software development.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll help evolve a large-scale platform from a legacy architecture into a modern, cloud-native ecosystem, working alongside a high-calibre engineering team building software that delivers genuine business impact.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced backend engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, influencing architectural decisions and working with modern engineering practices.

The Opportunity

You'll play a key role in designing, building and evolving highly scalable backend services whilst contributing to the wider technical direction of the platform.

  • Working within an Agile engineering team, you'll be involved throughout the software lifecycle—from architecture and design through to deployment, optimisation and continuous improvement.
  • Although the role has some front-end responsibilities, it is predominantly backend focused, with modern.NET and AWS at its core.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
