Role: Senior Software Developer
Location: Glasgow West - Office-Based (5 Days Per Week)
Salary: £70,000 to £85,000 plus Benefits
A successful and rapidly growing UK organisation is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Software Developer to play a key role in the continued evolution of a market-leading, cloud-based platform. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative technology team where you'll have genuine influence over architecture, product direction, and engineering best practices.
Working across the full software development lifecycle, you'll:
- Design, build, and enhance modern web applications
- Develop scalable backend services
- Integrate third-party systems
- Help shape the future of an enterprise platform using the latest cloud and AI-assisted development technologies

The Role
- Develop and enhance modern applications using TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS, React, and Next.js
- Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud-based solutions hosted on AWS
- Deliver new functionality, improve performance, and resolve complex technical issues
- Build and maintain API integrations with third-party platforms
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automated testing
- Champion software quality, security, and modern engineering best practices
- Work closely with product, operations, and support teams to deliver high-quality software
About You
- Experienced software engineer with strong full-stack development skills and a passion for building modern, scalable applications
- Ideally have:
- 5+ years' commercial software development experience
- Strong TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS, React, and Next.js experience
- Excellent knowledge of AWS cloud services
- Experience with MySQL, REST APIs, and CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and cloud-native development
- A collaborative approach with excellent problem-solving skills
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools would be highly advantageous.
