Legl

Legl is a fast-growing, B2B regtech/fintech platform with a mission to bring the legal industry into the 21st century. We’re backed by some of the best venture investors in Europe (Series B) and we are scaling quickly on our next phase of growth.

Our Mission

Our mission is to make legal services work better for law firms and their clients. Since launching just over 4 years ago, we’re proud to partner with over 500 law firms, including 40 of the UK’s top 200, and some of their regulated clients as well.

About Us

The Legl team is agile, ambitious, and collaborative. We’re not an environment that suits everyone - we thrive on breaking down problems to their essence, understanding the customer, making decisions quickly, and the mindset that every day matters. For the right individuals, this is an opportunity to thrive, be rewarded, and work on exciting, impactful projects alongside talented, like-minded people, while learning and developing at a fast pace.

The Role

We are builders who take an AI first approach to engineering - we deliberately blur the lines between Engineering, Product, and Design in search for better impact. Put simply - our primary responsibility is to deliver meaningful product & business value quickly.

Senior Engineers at Legl are expected to own customer and business outcomes & ambiguous problem spaces end to end and across the full-stack, shaping problems collaboratively, making informed trade offs, and taking accountability for sustained customer and business outcomes over time.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

  • Strong impact comes from challenging assumptions, grounding decisions in customer context and evidence, and helping teams focus effort on what matters most.
  • Decisions are shaped early and collaboratively using evidence, rapid feedback, and customer context, then owned and executed independently with clear accountability for outcomes.
  • You will drive product and business goals, shaping problems with product & design, grounding decisions in customer evidence and being accountable for results (rather than through- or outputs).

AI is treated as a core part of the engineering toolkit, not as an experiment or productivity hack. We use AI deliberately to increase leverage, reduce repeated manual work, improve decision quality, and enable both engineers and cross functional colleagues to move faster safely, with strong judgement applied to all outputs.

About You

You're a senior engineer who takes an AI first approach to engineering and thrives in an autonomous environment where you can solve ambiguous problems end to end quickly.

  • Using AI to move confidently beyond traditional stack boundaries excites you; you can balance strong technical judgement & value simplicity, testability, and fast feedback.
  • Utilising tools, automation, and AI to increase your impact and reduce repeated manual work for yourself and others comes naturally to you.
  • Product centric and outcomes focused; you understand how to collaborate early and challenge with PMs and Designers to shape problems, prioritise your efforts against customer and business value, and independently own delivery.
  • Actively enable others. Building tools, patterns, workflows that enable Legl to prototype, validate and ship quickly, safely and efficiently,
  • You care deeply about impact. You enjoy difficult problems, take responsibility for outcomes rather than tasks, and continuously look for better ways to build, ship, and improve software.
