We are proud of our engineering excellence and continuous innovation, and we’re now looking for a talented Senior Production Support Software Engineer to join our team.
The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced automation software engineer to play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the machinery that underpins our manufacturing processes.
As a senior member of the team, you will take ownership of complex technical challenges, drive improvements in reliability and productivity, and actively mentor and develop those around you.
Key Responsibilities
- Programme and maintain PLC systems (Mitsubishi iQ-R)
- Develop and support robot programming (Mitsubishi)
- Configure and optimise vision systems (Keyence and Asyril)
- Work with automation equipment such as servo systems, RFID, and inverters
- Identify and implement improvements to increase machine reliability and throughput
- Lead fault-finding activities and resolve complex technical issues
- Provide training, coaching, and technical guidance to engineers across the team

About You
You’ll be a highly skilled automation professional with a strong technical foundation and a passion for continuous improvement. We’re looking for someone who:
- Has proven experience in software programming methodologies
- Demonstrates strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Can work independently and take ownership of challenges
- Is confident mentoring and developing others
- Has excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Shows high attention to detail and a methodical approach
Technical Experience
- Hands-on experience with PLC programming (Mitsubishi iQ-R or equivalent)
- Robot programming experience (Mitsubishi or equivalent)
- Experience with HMI and vision systems (Keyence, Asyril or similar)
- Strong understanding of automation systems and integration
