Senior Software Engineer

About The Role

We seek a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to lead and expand key components of our global supply chain platform, including the B2B merchant portal, logistics engine, and API/EDI integrations with OMS, WMS, and TMS.

Our Philosophy On Engineering

Modern AI coding tools have made code writing efficient. However, we value engineers who demonstrate:

  • High agency
  • Deep business context
  • Understanding of challenges
  • Ability to anticipate issues
  • Effective communication

This approach enables faster progress than focusing solely on individual tasks.

This position is based in Europe, with your primary collaborator located in Germany.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Ownership: Lead architectural modules from database schema design through to a refined, user-facing frontend.
  • Resilient Infrastructure: Build fault-tolerant systems for:
    • International shipping routes
    • Customs data
    • Real-time tracking
  • Heavy-Duty Integrations: Develop and maintain robust API and EDI integrations with enterprise OMS, WMS, and TMS platforms, ensuring reliable management of:
    • Idempotency
    • Retries
    • Dead-letter queues
  • Async Collaboration: Collaborate efficiently with a globally distributed team by providing:
    • Clear documentation
    • Progress updates independent of real-time meetings

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
