Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer
Location: Remote (UK)
Salary: Up to £90,000 + benefits
About the Company
Join a growth-stage technology company who are building next-generation identity, entity resolution and risk intelligence platforms used by banks, governments and regulated organisations. Their software helps organisations understand exactly who they're doing business with, combining large-scale data processing, entity resolution, graph intelligence and modern cloud architecture.
Join an engineering team solving genuinely difficult technical problems - processing millions of records through asynchronous, event-driven pipelines that power compliance workflows where correctness, transparency and performance matter. You'll have real ownership, from architecture through deployment, across new and existing products.
What You'll Do
- Design, build and ship features across the full stack (Fastify microservices, React/MUI, shared TypeScript packages in a pnpm monorepo)
- Design and evolve backend services for high-volume, distributed screening workloads
- Build event-driven pipelines (AWS SNS/SQS) with idempotent consumers, DLQs and batch processing
- Design clean APIs and contribute to architecture across multiple products
- Integrate external identity, KYC and payments platforms (e.g. Senzing, Auth0, Stripe)
- Own services end-to-end: API design, MongoDB data modelling, testing, observability, deployment
- Build secure systems (JWT/OIDC, fine-grained authorisation, IDOR protection, audit logging)
- Write automated tests (Vitest, Playwright) as part of everyday development
- Mentor engineers through code review and technical collaboration

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
Engineering Challenges
Large-scale entity resolution, event-driven distributed systems, high-throughput async pipelines, graph-based relationship analysis, explainable compliance/risk decisions, and AI-assisted investigation workflows - reliability and correctness matter as much as performance.
