Senior Software Engineer (Python) – Reducing Carbon Emissions with Machine Learning!
Tech Stack: Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, React/React Native, AWS, GraphQL, Snowflake, Airflow, DDD
Location & Compensation
- Salary: £90–£110,000 per annum + stock options
- Primary Location: London Office
- Remote: 1–2 days per week

Role Overview
This Senior Software Engineer position offers liberty in technology choices, though primarily collaborate with Python and AWS. Integral to collaborate with product, design, and cross-functional teams to understand business, customer, and colleague needs, developing scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaboration: Work with product, design, and teammates to ascertain needs and foster ownership across products and engineering function.
- Development:
- Design and build solutions for complex challenges as platforms scale.
- Predominantly using Python on AWS while embracing Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
- Quality & Best Practices:
- Promote best practices; implement processes for quality assurance (e.g., TDD/BDD, DDD).
- Advocate Agile, iterative engineering, and continuous delivery.
- Culture & Mentorship:
- Engage with teammates to foster inclusive, collaborative culture.
- Encourage peer-to-peer feedback, driving progress for humble, curious teams.
