Senior Full Stack AI Engineer
London (Hybrid) | £110,000–£140,000 + Equity
We're partnering with a venture-backed AI startup that recently emerged from stealth with significant seed funding.
Founded by former Palantir engineers, they're building an AI operating system for drug discovery—helping scientists reason over complex scientific evidence and accelerate the development of new medicines.
What you'll be doing
You'll work across the full stack, taking ownership of product features from idea through to production.
You'll help build:
- AI-powered user experiences
- Agentic workflows
- Retrieval and evaluation systems
- Frontend, backend and API layers
- Internal tooling that helps a small engineering team move quickly
- Reliable AI systems that users can trust

You'll work directly with founders, customers, and domain experts, turning ambiguous problems into production software.
What they're looking for
- 3+ years' commercial software engineering experience
- Strong full stack engineering skills
- Experience shipping AI features into production
- Comfortable discussing prompts, evals, latency, failure modes, and AI product trade-offs
- Uses AI coding tools as part of day-to-day development
- Experience in a high-bar engineering environment
- Product mindset with a bias towards ownership and execution
