Senior Solution Architect

The Solution Architect is part of a Solution delivery team driving major transformation programmes for Tier 1 telco operators in the UK.
Role will be the main contact for the solution design for both internal and external partners. Activities will include preparing solution design, leading design discussions with customer, review of design documents, helping solution engineers with design guidance, troubleshooting and technical escalation management.

Responsibilities
- Develop a complete understanding of E2E deployed cloud solutions for the customers.
- Lead multi-domain virtual teams and collaborate across the competence centers, global support, and product line maintenance teams to drive solution design.
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact and engagement for internal and external stakeholders during escalations. Work closely with Test Manager for Test definition, Test execution and Test reporting tasks
- Support automation initiatives and drive continuous improvement in integration tasks
- Closely work with other Solution Architects for Integration design and planning
- Mentor and guide new team members
- Participate in technical discussions with customer SMEs
- Drive and orchestrate as Investigation Leader for troubleshooting and fault isolation during solution deployment.
- Identify and drive business leads and promote products & services. Identify risks & sales opportunities in the customer network.
- Act as end-to-end solution responsible for Presales customer engagements.
- Define target architecture, SW and Services requirements for solution proposals.

Education/Experience:
- Academic degree, minimum on bachelor level, in engineering (IT, Telecom) and 10-12 years’ experience of System Integration and Testing
Technical Knowledge
- Expert in E2E Telecom network architecture focusing on Cloud, IP Networking, CORE networks & OSS applications
- Expert in E2E solution design for 4G, 5G services.
- Expert in solution capacity dimensioning and optimization.
- Strong experience of telecom networks solution integration and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge and experience in automation & CI/CD Pipeline design and implementation.
- Strong knowledge of Packet CORE, VOICE CORE & UDM network applications.
- Experience in preparing RFQ responses, SOCing and proposal build.
